Kobe had a Continuation to celebrate his graduation from Elementary School. Kobe was very excited about it. They sung a bunch of pretty songs and got presented their diplomas.
Kobe’s 5th grade teacher, Mrs. Terhlin.
The principal, Mrs. Fullmer.
The assistant principal, Mr. Powell.
Some of the kids were emotional or sad, but Kobe was just so happy. He loved elementary school, but he is so excited to move onto middle school.
They sang the song “We Are the World”. It was so funny to have that song be brand new to those kids. Their music teacher showed them the old music video and the kids thought it was the coolest song.
The song was filled with solos, duets, and groups of kids singing lines. Kobe got the Cyndi Lauper line along with another girl in his school/church class. He was so excited to belt it out. He and his friend are equally matched rock stars.
Luke was almost not able to come, and was so sad, but I pulled him out of class at the last minute. We all wanted to be there to support Kobes-El.
He had a great year with Mrs. Terhlin.
It is so crazy to me that Kobe attended only 1 elementary school his entire six years. It really must be neat to feel such a connection to a school and teachers that have seen you through your entire childhood. He will miss his elementary school, but is so ready to move on up.

I know people say this all the time, but I cannot believe he is old enough to be going to middle school! What a handsome young man he is growing up to be :)
