This year Kobe participated in the Java Club at school. It’s a club where they learned about poetry and wrote a bunch of creative poems.
At the end of the year they had a performance at a “Coffee Shop” that they set up in the library. Tate and I got to join Kobe for lunch.
We passed on the coffee, but the fruit smoothies they had were tasty!
It was so cute. They had MC’s who introduced each poet. And at the end of a poem we all snapped our fingers. Tate’s little finger snaps were so cute!

Kobe did a great job! He loves creative writing and really enjoyed exploring poetry and performing his creations.
This is Mrs. Grindrod, who heads the Java Club. She has been Kobe’s GT teacher his entire time in elementary school. She is retiring this year and we will miss her so much!
